Phil - guitar, vocals and mandolin

Phil has been a part of the Isle of Wight folk scene for over 20 years playing with bands such as TinLids, Smoke and Mirrors, Wiretapper, Junction 26 and On the Edge.

Phil can be seen playing every other Wednesday night as part of the duo, Scarecrow, at The Spyglass Inn on Ventnor sea front. Phil is considered to be one the best folk guitarist on the island.

Becky - fiddle, accordion and mandolin

Becky has been playing the fiddle and piano since she was nine and has more recently picked up the mandolin and accordion.

A relative newcomer to the island folk scene having played classical and blues music for most of her formative years, since 1995 Becky has played with The Low Cats Blues Band, Sporting Life, The Wayward Sons, Reel Time Ceilidh Band, TinLids, Wiretapper, Junction 26 and currently plays with folk rock band Smoke and Mirrors, mainland band The Anglo Jutes Collective, and is a regular member of the Oystergirls morris team (as their fiddler).

Pete's Sake

The duo was formed in 2008 although Phil and Becky have been playing together in various bands since 1997. Pete's Sake can be booked for pubs, clubs and special events.
